WHO MAY LIVE IN NATURE’S EDGE RETIREMENT COMMUNITY?
It is required that one resident be at least 55 years old. Other persons residing in the house must be at least 40 years of age.
WHAT IS A HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION?
The Nature’s Edge HOA is composed of a Board of Directors who are elected by the Community, and serve as volunteers for two year terms. They are responsible for all operations of the Association, and ensuring the Community governing documents are followed and enforced.
WHAT DO THE MONTHLY DUES INCLUDE?
Our present residential dues of $60 per month are budgeted for the monthly and yearly operational costs of the community clubhouse and grounds as well as the building of reserve funds for future repair of roads, clubhouse roofing and pool repairs to name a few.
DO I NEED APPROVAL TO MAKE CHANGES OR ADDITIONS TO THE EXTERIOR OF MY PROPERTY?
Yes. An Architectural Change Request form needs to be submitted to the Board at least a week prior to the next Board meeting for all additions, any change to the physical structure and/or appearance of the property, excluding landscaping.
CAN I HAVE A PET?
Nature’s Edge is a pet friendly community, even providing a dog park. Rules regarding breeds, use of leashes and cleaning up after a pet are in place.
DO YOU HAVE A STORAGE AREA?
• Since the community was developed without a storage location, guidelines for boat parking have been established in our governing documents.
